Part of the appeal of these automatic drawings is the origin, which bears repeating: They are drawn in a distracted state, with Cat focused primarily on other things, such as a sermon at church. The writing, which informs the titles of many of the drawings, are not attached deliberately. They are simply the notes on the page where the drawing was found and scanned.
